Lorraine F. Dillon, 91, of Edison, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Dillon was born in Jersey City to the late Frank and Helen Gannon Dassinger and had lived the last sixty two years in Edison.  Lorraine cherished fond memories of growing up in Jersey City.

She was a secretary in the laboratory of Revlon for seventeen years before retiring in 1988

Lorraine was a beautiful and loving mother, grandmother and aunt.  She put her family above and before all else.  She loved music, dancing and swimming and had been a championship equestrian rider and jumper in her youth.

Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 2002, a daughter Susan in 2014 and a son Raymond also in 2014.

She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Dillon and wife June of Eldred, NY and Matthew Dillon of Edison, two daughters, Deirdre Fine and husband Jesse of East Brunswick, and Patricia Henry and husband Danny of Fords, and also four grandchildren, Shannon, Haley, Maggie and Danny. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodbridge. Visitation hours will be held Friday from 4 - 8 pm.
